Our Mission

The mission of Elim Bible Institute is to glorify God and His Son, Jesus Christ, by assisting the Church to fulfill the mandate of the Great Commission: to preach the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. To this end, we are committed to the task of preparing Christian workers and servant-leaders for revival ministry worldwide, who manifest the character of Christ and who minister in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

We believe in the triune Godhead as eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor.

We believe that God created heaven and earth from nothing. We believe that
God created humanity from the dust of the earth and that He formed male and
female in His image and likeness.

We believe all things in the universe were created and made by God in the six days of the Creation Week described in Genesis 1:1-23, and confirmed in Exodus 20:8-11. The creation record is evidenced in nature, factual, historical, and understandable.  Therefore, we believe all theories of origins or development that involve macroevolution in any form are false.  All things that now exist are sustained and ordered by God's providential care.

We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His present priestly ministry.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We further believe in the keeping power of God.

We believe in the existence of a being, commonly called Satan, who was originally created good, but who fell from God’s grace because of rebellion.

We believe in evangelistic and missionary fervor and endeavor.

We believe that the salvation of humans is wholly a work of God’s free grace
and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or
religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their
faith in Christ alone for their salvation, and thereby justified them in His
sight.

We believe
in sanctification and holiness of heart and the overcoming life
as God’s design for the Church, which is the Bride of Christ.

We believe that sexual purity is the standard for all God's children, which
requires abstinence from adultery, fornication, incest, homosexuality, or
other sexual relationships or practices forbidden by Scripture.

We believe that marriage is a sacred institution established by God and is
the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, as on the day of Pentecost,
and in the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit in charismatic gifts and
ministries, and in His fruit in the believer.

We believe that divine healing is obtained on the basis of the Atonement.

We believe in Christ's imminent personal return in power and great glory,
and in His present and everlasting dominion.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are
saved unto everlasting life and they that are lost unto eternal punishment.

Core Values

Our Staff and students comprise a community of believers committed to a life of expressive worship, prayer, simplicity, integrity, holiness, servanthood and mission-mindedness, both individually and corporately.

We are committed to providing a setting where Spirit-impartation, systematic and intensive Bible study, academic excellence, and practical ministerial training and experience are woven together, so the student may be prepared for a variety of service opportunities.

We are committed to discern, pursue, and participate in any fresh emphasis of the Holy Spirit's work in each generation.

We are committed to unity among believers on the fundamentals of the faith, but liberty in other doctrinal matters.
