Life/Ministry Experience (Module # 1)
Elim recognizes the value and achievements of the experiential learning an adult has gained in his or her life, and will grant life/ministry experience (LME) units if it can be demonstrated that the experiences are equivalent to the learning achieved in a college-level course.
A maximum of 15 units (one semester) may be granted by Elim for life/ministry experience. An LME application form will be sent upon acceptance into the program.

The registrar will determine the amount of credit granted based upon specific guidelines. You will be notified of the registrar's determination, in writing, within 30 days of receiving your completed application. Your submission will become part of your permanent records and will not be returned.
Your Program Advisor will help you make decisions regarding the classes from which you will be exempted based on LME credit. LME credit will not be indicated on a student's transcripts until all other requirements for graduation have been met.
LME credit is not necessarily transferable to programs at other schools.
An evaluation fee of $50.00 must accompany the submission of your completed LME Evaluation Application. A fee of $50.00 is charged for each unit of life/ministry experience credit granted. (Example: 15 units x $50 = $750) It is not necessary to cover the entire cost of LME credit prior to beginning other modules. The fee may be paid at any time, but it must be paid in full before a diploma is awarded upon graduation. All fees must be paid in US funds.
