Certificate Programs
For those who
want Bible training, but cannot make a commitment to on-campus study,
Elim offers one-year certificates in several areas of study. Each
certificate is earned by successfully completing 27 units of
correspondence courses and three units of ministry intensives. The
certificate programs are available to high school graduates of all
ages. Ministry intensives are fulfilled by attending special meetings
on the Elim campus, in your community, or overseas.
We want to help you attain your goal!
Correspondence courses listed below are 3 units unless otherwise indicated.

Spiritual Enrichment
Design your own
directed studies track through this 30-unit series of college-level courses. Select 27
correspondence units from over 70 different correspondence credit
courses available. You must select at least one course from four
divisions: Bible, Theology, Ministry and Education. Three additional
units are earned through an approved ministry intensive in an area of
your choice.
Christian Ministry
This program is
for students of the Word who want to study on a college level for
personal knowledge and growth, but without the pressure of academic
performance. You will be exposed to a variety of Bible courses without
the demands of reading additional textbooks or taking a final
examination. Unit exams are the only submission requirement.
Satisfactory course completion (passing grades on unit exams) results
in a grade of "P"(pass) placed on your official transcript. Simply
choose 28 units from four divisions of study (Bible, Theology,
Ministry, and Education) under the Christian Ministry heading (those
with DSB in their course number). A two-unit ministry intensive (of
your choice) completes your requirements.
Continuing Education Enrichment
Elim currently
offers some 70 correspondence courses in Bible, theology, ministry,
education, missions, music, and languages, including Greek and Hebrew.
Even if you already hold an Elim diploma or degrees from other
institutions, you can continue to enrich your life in the Lord through
studying God’s Word. Whether you decide to take one course or several,
the Enrichment Program can be a benefit to your own spiritual growth
and to your local church or ministry. No ministry intensives are
required.
If you’re age 25 or older, you can earn Elim’s traditional Three-Year Diploma
in a non-traditional way! Through Directed Studies, you can earn up to
30 units required for graduation, equal to approximately two semesters
of on-campus study. Draw from the Well
also offers up to 15 units (one semester) for life/ministry experience.
The remaining unit requirements are completed through on-campus study.
