Resources Available
The library of Elim Bible Institute, established in 1924, contains over 32,000 holdings and 181 journal titles. Small collections within the library contain videos, DVD’s, materials devoted to Pentecostalism, with a collection of the Higher Christian Life, a reprint of early Pentecostal literature. We have some rare early Pentecostal resources such as “Trust” (a magazine printed by the Rochester Bible Training School in the early 1900’s), “The Elim Pentecostal Heralds,” and “Latter Rain Evangel,” which are also available on CD. The library also has a collection available on CD of rare sermons by the founder as well as other early instructors of EBI, as well as books, memorabilia, and notes on the Genesee Wesleyan Seminary established on our campus in 1832 that ceased operation in the 1930’s. Collection strengths include Bible commentaries, theology, Holy Spirit, prayer, church history, discipleship, missions, pastoral theology, homiletics, Christian biography, medical missions and community health nursing.
