Federal Subsidized and Unsubsidized student loans are available to eligible Elim Bible Institute and College students upon request.
EBIC is committed to educating students on the use of federal student loans. While federal student loans are a way to invest into ones future, EBIC does not advise students to go into unnecessary debt.
If there is need to borrow federal student loans, EBIC advises students to borrow Subsidized loans, if eligibile. While any of the federal student loans may be helpful when paying for college, Subsidized loans may be more beneficial to the student. The U.S. Department of Education pays the interest on a Subsidized loan while the student is in school (at least half-time), for the duration of the six-month grace period and during a period of deferment.
