The Ministry Department
“How would you feel about riding in an airliner with a first time pilot who had only 'flown' flight simulators—even though he had a 4.0 average on flight simulators? If that
seems ridiculous, it is no more ridiculous than people entering the
ministry—even with good grades—but with no real ministry experience to
go along with their theology. The Ministry Department provides students
with opportunities for real, hands-on, ministry experiences throughout their enrollment at EBI. Upon completing any program of study at EBI, it won’t just be theories.”

Student Ministries: “Practical avenues of ministry and service essential to discovering and developing God-given gifts for life and ministry. A student ministry consists of a weekly assignment to a local church or an organization which includes college campuses, correctional facilities, after-school programs, developmental centers, juvenile counseling facilities, rehabilitation and discipleship centers, street evangelism, homeless outreach, and traveling creative arts teams. These assignments ensure that students have the opportunity to share the gospel, learn teamwork, and much more. Student Ministries also help strengthen and encourage the host ministries with which we partner, and in some cases provide opportunities for future ministry positions.”

Director of Student Ministries
Creative Arts: “A thriving venue for our Elim students to do hands-on ministry. Each semester, we prepare and send out a drama team, as well as a Children’s ministry known as Kingdom Kids. These
groups learn how to package the Gospel into a variety of contexts that
are meaningful and effective in local churches and Christian schools. Creative Arts Student Ministries spend a lot of time in rehearsals and preparation. When students express a gift or an interest in an artistic venue, we encourage them to grow that gift. More importantly, however, we encourage them to submit that gift so that Christ can transform it into a powerful vessel for His Word. If you want to share Jesus through art, you’ll do it here.”
