There are a variety of wonderful opportunities to give to Elim! If the Lord leads you to help Elim, please consider the options below. There are also volunteer opportunities! Please see below for more information.
When you designate where you would like your donation to go, you have the opportunity to choose how you would like to bless EBIC. For example, you would be able to make a note that your donation should go to “Renovating Spencer Hall” or “Sound Gear for Worship.” Simply let us know in the “comments” section and we will see your donation goes to the right place!
When you give to this fund, your gift is added to our general spending which is used to address our most important need at the time. This fund is vital in not only maintaining the ongoing daily needs, but also with the unexpected surprises that must be addressed. By selecting this fund you are giving Elim Bible Institute and College the greatest ability to address our ever changing most critical needs.
While Elim works hard to keep the cost of tuition and room & board as low as possible, we do not want finances to keep any student from fulfilling his or her calling. Therefore, many of the students who attend Elim receive some kind of financial aid package. Some scholarships provide assistance based solely on need, while others are given to students who fit specific criteria. Our scholarship fund was created to help these students move forward in their pursuit of training for ministry.
As our second and longest-serving President, Carlton Spencer oversaw growth in both the school’s facilities and its worldwide impact. The purpose of this fund in his memory is to make capital improvements to the Lima, NY campus that Carlton led Elim to purchase in 1951.
Since the creation of the Carlton Spencer Memorial Campus Restoration Fund in 2012, generous gifts to it have already made a big difference on campus. The dorm Watson Hall and our main Academic building College Hall, which had been closed for many years, have been renovated and reopened. Other improvements so far include replaced roofs, plumbing and air conditioning repairs, landscaping, and painting across campus.
Today, we are still standing in faith for God’s provision for the Elim campus. One more building needs to be restored and repaired—Spencer Hall, which housed the administration of the school and many dorm rooms, is currently closed. There are continued renovation projects in College Hall to complete, and other buildings need new roofs, windows, furnaces, gutters, and other improvements. Would you consider making a gift in memory of this great man of God to keep this Historic campus alive?
Students from all around the globe hear God’s voice calling them to be trained for ministry at Elim, but often these internationals lack the financial resources needed to successfully do so. Donations to the International Student Scholarship Fund enables us to provide scholarships and campus-employment opportunities for these needy students and further expand Elim’s mission of preparing Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered servant leaders for global revival.
