EBIC offers the following programs online: Launch Certificate, A.A.S. in Biblical and Theological Studies, B.S. in Theology, and B.S. in Business Management. Students can also enroll in online classes without being admitted to a program. It is a great way to strengthen the spiritual foundation in your life and increase Bible knowledge without having to relocate or majorly adjust your schedule. Online courses are also an excellent way to preview the Elim experience.
Alumni, contact our admissions office at 585.582.8260 or admissions@elim.edu to discuss how you might fulfill your goals of completing your degree. Online courses are currently not available to International students and residents of California.
Virtual live classes are an easy way to join a live classroom session. By utilizing a simple webcam and a solid internet connection, you can log in from your home and virtually join the EBIC residential students on campus. The professor simultaneously teaches a physical and virtual class. This means that online students have to attend the class in real-time as if they were actually on campus. If a class is held at 8:00 am on Mon/Wed/Fri, the student must log in at that time. Attendance and class participation is essential. Virtual online students are required to fulfill the same class assignments as residential students for that class.
PLEASE NOTE: Some Virtual Live classes are very popular and might not be available to on-line students. Full-time residential students have precedence, enrollment for part-time students is done based on a first-come-first-serve basis as seats are available with a maximum of 40 students per class. Federal Financial Aid might be available contingent on the student’s eligibility and enrollment.
Asynchronous distance education classes provide an opportunity to learn without changing your location and give students the ability to access instruction at separate times. Objectives and assignments are well defined in advance. Regular and substantial communication with the professor and other classmates is required, however, there are no preset times to connect online. This format allows you to complete your work by the due date when it best fits your schedule.
PLEASE NOTE: Visit the Admissions Information section in the Academic Catalog for other admissions requirements and non-discrimination policy.
PLEASE NOTE: A certificate, degree, or transcripts will not be released until all financial obligations to Elim Bible Institute and College are met.
